Harvest Pumpkin Farm - October

Haskins and Southwest first and second grade "Beyond The Bell" students traveled to the Harvest Pumpkin Farm near Turon, KS. They fed the animals, had a hay-rack ride, picked a pumpkin, went through a maze, had a snack and played on the farm toys. Before we left we were treated to the "Pumpkinater". A pumpkin is shot out of a large ipe. It was great fun to watch it go up and then crash.
